For the past 17 years I have provided financial technical assistance to arts organizations and grant review to arts funders. My clients have included the Northern California Grantmakers, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, the James Irvine Foundation, and Grants for The Arts, Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD), Magnificat, Pacific Chamber Symphony, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Nonprofit Finance Fund, California Historical Society, and the Alvarado School District.

Grantmakers Arts Loan Fund
1992-2002
Responsible for due diligence on 30 bay area arts organization’s applications to the Art’s Loan Fund The fund is a collaborative consisting of 26 Bay Area Arts grant makers. I analyzed applicants’ financial statements including cash flow, net assets and changes in net assets. I provided the committee with the ratios necessary for determining the financial health of each group that included benefits, performances, government contracts, government allocations, and foundation grants.
