Sessions featuring by C2Arts:

Shaking a Cloudy Crystal Ball: Budgeting and Forecasting in Today’s Economy (Room 202), 1:15-2:10
It seems like uncertainty has emerged as the one thing you can count on in our current economic climate. Forecasting has always been challenging when developing a budget and maybe never more so than now. Join our panel of representatives from the world of performing arts (and from other fields?) who discuss the concept of forecasting and how to best deal with the uncertainty that is the nature of this beast. Moderated by David Gluck (Theatre Bay Area board member), with panelists Susi Damilano (producing director, SF Playhouse), Scott Devine (general manager, TheatreWorks) and Alan Levinson (c2Arts Consultants).

Maximizing Microfundraising (Room 213), 2:30-3:25
Success stories and cautionary tales from the field that explore the power and impact small gifts and the use of technology can make on big projects. Moderated by Morrie Warshawski (C2Arts Consultants) with panelists Allison Combs (artistic director, 11th Hour Ensemble), Jessica Holt (artistic director, Three Wise Monkeys Theatre Company). Pete Matthews (co-artistic director, Boxcar Theatre) and Pamela Sullivan (director of development, Stern Grove Festival Association).

Excellence in the field: How the Heck Can it Be Measured? (Room 223), 2:30-3:25
A unique dialogue on the challenges of attempting to measure excellence. Using the “fishbowl” discussion model to build on conversation, join this group of local professionals as we all wrestle with this topic. Moderated by Amy Kweskin (C2Arts Consultants).
