Many artists and arts organizations depend on the Cultural Equity Grants to build sustainability. Programs such as those offered by the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) bolster San Francisco’s cultural sector by increasing management capacity.
While past errors should be brought to light, we strongly support the intent of this grants program, and look forward to the flourishing of culturally diverse arts in San Francisco with dedicated, enlightened civic grantmaking.
